Starting from the Word of God, the teachings of the Church, and the rich Jacobean tradition, Ultreia prepares a personalized plan for your pilgrimage. Upon launching the app, simply input the starting and ending dates of your journey. The app will generate a daily prayer plan tailored to your schedule. Each day, you'll find a thoughtful meditation, but feel free to explore the full library of 30 daily meditations, including preparatory and concluding reflections.

Comprehensive Resources for Your Pilgrimage

Beyond daily reflections, Ultreia provides a wealth of information about the Camino de Santiago and its significance. Learn about the Jacobean tradition, the deeper meaning of pilgrimage, and practical tips on hospitality, lodging, and volunteering. The app also features an introduction to personal prayer and suggestions for liturgical prayer and devotions.

Celebrate Your Journey Spiritually

The Celebration section introduces you to the world of the Liturgy and Sacraments. Discover how to celebrate the Eucharist, receive penance, and participate in evening prayers at hostels. A small pilgrim songbook is included to add to your spiritual practices.

Ultreia also offers personal services such as sending emails for prayer requests, counseling, and spiritual direction. These features ensure you have the support you need throughout your journey.

Collaboration and Future Developments

Ultreia is created by the Delegation for the Popular Religiosity of the Diocese of Zamora (Spain) in collaboration with several priests and communities along the Camino. We are continuously working on adding new sections, such as deeper explorations of the Word of God and the Church's presence on the Way.
