To address this gap, the Korea Bio Association aims to foster the creation of at least 1,000 new startups over the next few years. By collaborating with the government, established pharmaceutical firms, and financial institutions, the association is establishing the Start-up 1,000 Fund. This initiative seeks to nurture both young ventures and established leaders in the industry, aiming to cultivate 10 to 20 companies achieving annual sales of over 1 trillion won within the next two to three years.
