Seminar / Conference Registration Toolkit

This application, "RT," is designed to streamline the registration process for seminars and conferences. It serves as an essential tool for the Registration Team and Ushers or Walking Agents at the event venue.

Search Functionality

When participants arrive without their registration ID (due to forgetting it, losing it, or not receiving it), the Usher or Walking Agent can utilize the search feature within the app. Simply enter the participant's name, and the app will display a list of potential matches. Upon selecting the correct participant, the app generates a barcode image, which can be captured by the participant's camera. Alternatively, if the participant does not have a camera-capable device, the Usher or Walking Agent can assist by showing the barcode on their own device.

Barcode Scanner

The app also functions as a barcode scanner, reducing wait times in queues. An internet connection is required to submit data to the cloud-hosted database (MySQL). The app supports both 1D and 2D barcodes. After scanning, the app verifies the barcode against the participant data and displays a confirmation popup with the participant's name.

Scan Results

The Scan Result menu displays only those barcodes scanned using the app itself. These results can be exported as Excel files, making it easier to integrate data from multiple sources or compare with scans from other devices. This feature is particularly useful for headcount and attendance analysis.

Digital Ticketing

For efficient and eco-friendly ticket distribution, the app includes a New Registration feature. To create a digital ticket, the user needs to input details such as class type, participant name, gender, mobile number, email, physical ticket number, organization name, workshop choices, and payment method. After submission (which requires a password), the app generates a barcode image as the ticket. This ticket can then be sent via email, SMS, or WhatsApp, providing a seamless and quick service to the participants.

By leveraging these features, "RT" ensures a smooth and efficient registration process, enhancing the overall experience for both organizers and attendees.
