About BSR: Broad Spectrum Radio is a non-commercial initiative led by James M. Branum, a passionate shortwave radio enthusiast, amateur radio operator under the call sign KG5JST, and a progressive Mennonite minister, peace activist, and attorney. He is also a devoted husband and father. Through BSR, he aims to share a wide range of voices and perspectives that might not otherwise be heard on traditional radio platforms.

Much of the programming featured on BSR comes from the Upwave Media Project of the Center for Conscience in Action. This includes popular shows like Nappy Roots Radio, Peace Buzz, and Exploring Aspergia. In addition, BSR also broadcasts the monthly Mennonite Radio Program from Joy Mennonite Church in Oklahoma City. These programs reflect a commitment to community, peace, and social justice.
