It’s a perfect companion for players who want to relive their childhood but wish to bypass the tougher missions. However, it requires a bit of tinkering to make it work smoothly on some devices.

The app is great when it works, but I encountered a lot of bugs. Sometimes, the cheats wouldn’t load properly, and it would crash randomly. I would still recommend it for those who are okay with minor technical issues, but be prepared for some frustration.

The app is a downgrade for long-time subscribers. While the magazine itself is fantastic, the app only allows access to digital issues from July 2015 onwards. It feels like a step backward compared to the old app, which offered access to more back issues.
