Church of Nigeria Hymnal App, Anglican Communion

This newly approved Church of Nigeria Hymnal Android App is available for free and serves as an essential tool for the Anglican Communion in Nigeria. This application is designed to enhance the worship experience by providing access to a comprehensive collection of hymns, canticles, and spiritual songs.

The Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, emphasizes the importance of worship standards, biblical truth, Christian faith, teaching, and integrity. The Hymnal app aligns with these values by offering a hymnal companion to the Book of Common Prayer. The hymnal is structured to correspond with the Church Calendar, reflecting sound biblical doctrines that explain God's attributes and nature, as well as the concept of the Trinity.

Featuring 1250 hymn lyrics, canticles, and spiritual songs, this hymnal includes approximately 450 compositions by Nigerian authors. These hymns not only include timeless classics that remain relevant to daily spiritual life but also reflect the African way of worship through rich musical traditions and accompaniments.

Singing from the hymnal helps prepare the minds and hearts of worshippers for their service to God. It fosters the revelation of divine truth, instills hope for both the present and eternity, and invites the transformative power from above.
