This app offers a seamless and personalized experience that extends the capabilities of CareCloud Central and CareCloud Charts directly to iOS devices such as the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. With Companion Plus, users can access essential tools and information from anywhere, ensuring they stay connected and efficient throughout their day.

To use Companion Plus, you must be currently utilizing either CareCloud Central, our comprehensive practice management solution, or CareCloud Charts, our award-winning EHR system. This integration ensures that all data remains consistent and up-to-date across platforms, providing a unified experience for healthcare professionals. The app is optimized for mobile use, allowing users to manage their schedules, interact with patients, and access critical patient information on the go.

Key features of Companion Plus include the ability for CareCloud Central users to create, edit, and cancel appointments, check in and out patients, and view personal schedules alongside multiple resources simultaneously. Additionally, users can review appointment summaries, including visit details and patient balances, as well as access demographic information and documents uploaded into the CareCloud system. They can also add or update a patient's avatar photo using the device's camera and contact patients directly via phone, SMS, or email.

For CareCloud Charts users, Companion Plus offers even more advanced functionalities, such as creating and sending ePrescriptions, printing prescriptions, reviewing and signing incoming electronic lab results, and approving medication refill requests. Users can also add clinical images to patient charts using the camera and view comprehensive clinical summaries that include medications, problems, allergies, vitals, labs, immunizations, and more. Furthermore, the app allows access to clinical documents like x-rays and encounter notes, making it an essential tool for modern medical practices.
