vTools Survey is a comprehensive tool designed for managing all types of map data files, conducting field surveys, and creating detailed maps using GPS technology. This versatile application is tailored to meet the needs of professionals working in cartography, geospatial analysis, and environmental science.

Key Features

The application offers a wide range of functions to streamline your workflow:

• Data Management: Efficiently manage all your map data files, including importing and exporting various formats such as Excel, GPS/GPX, KML/KMZ, GeoJSON, AutoCAD DXF, MicroStation DGN, ESRI Shapefile SHP, MapInfo TAB, gCadas GTP, GeoTIFF, JPG, and PNG.
• Field Surveying: Utilize advanced features for positioning, current position tracking, and practical view angles to help identify better directions. You can also create Points, Lines, Polygons, Coordinate Waypoints, and Tracklog routes directly in the field.
• Measurement Tools: Rapidly measure the area and length of objects in the field, and simultaneously create Tracklog, Point, Line, and Polygon while moving. Tracklog mode allows for seamless background operation.
• Attribute Information: Save attribute information and images in the field, and define custom form fields for data collection. Share collected data quickly with the entire group via QR code or export to various file formats.
• Waypoint Management: Import waypoint lists from TXT, Excel, and CSV files, and convert point coordinates directly on the device. Manually enter point lists for verification purposes, such as checking the location of specific landmarks.
• Projection Systems: Fully support the VN 2000 projection system used locally and nationwide in Vietnam, as well as over 5000 projection systems from around the world, including older systems like Hanoi 1972 (HN 72).
• Numerical Compass: Integrate a numerical compass feature for accurate navigation.
• Offline Maps: Read offline map data from MBTiles and manage data layers intelligently. Convert TCVN3 and VNI encodings for Vietnamese fonts in attribute information.
• Photography: Capture field photographs, save location, shooting direction, and Exif information, and apply GeoTags to images.
• Satellite Data: Access and utilize Landsat 8 satellite image data (updated every 16 days) and Sentinel 2 (updated every 5 days) directly from the application.
• 3D Perspective: View locations with a 3D perspective using a global elevation digital model.
