Environmentally Friendly Mobility for Everyone, Anytime!

RMV On-Demand offers an innovative approach to environmentally friendly mobility in the Rhein-Main area. Our all-electric, digital, and on-demand shuttles provide a convenient and flexible alternative to traditional public transport.

How It Works

To start using RMV On-Demand, download the RMV On-Demand 2.0 app. With this app, you can access five of the nine on-demand services available in the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund:

• DadiLiner (Darmstadt-Dieburg district)
• Emil (Idstein & Taunusstein)
• Hopper (Offenbach district)
• KNUT (Frankfurt)
• mainer (Hanau)

For services in Hofheim, Kelsterbach, and Limburg, use the "RMV On-Demand" app.

Booking Your Ride

1. Enter Your Start and Destination Address: Simply input your starting point and destination within the app.
2. Book Your Ride: The app will show you which vehicle can pick you up and when. You'll be guided to a nearby stop where you'll be picked up.
3. Pay in the App: Since the service is integrated into the existing public transport system, your trip will incur a small additional fee to your RMV-ticket. The exact price is displayed during booking, and you can choose your preferred payment method.
4. Rate Your Ride: Upon arrival at your destination, the shuttle will drop you off at a virtual stop near your final destination. You can then provide feedback and rate the service through the app.

Project Overview

The "On-Demand-Mobility for the Frankfurt/Rhein-Main Region" project is one of the largest on-demand initiatives in Europe. Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure and the State of Hessen, RMV is collaborating with ten partners to implement this pioneering transportation project. The goal is to fill gaps in public transportation services with zero-emission shuttles, significantly contributing to sustainable mobility.

By making public transport more accessible and flexible, especially outside city centers, RMV aims to provide reliable, inexpensive, and convenient travel options for everyone.
