ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting (ADMM): Promoting Regional Peace and Stability

The ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting (ADMM) stands as the highest-level defense consultative and cooperative mechanism within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Established against the backdrop of the ASEAN Security Community (ASC) Plan of Action, which was approved at the 10th ASEAN Summit, the inaugural ADMM meeting took place in Kuala Lumpur on May 9, 2006.
