Description

The JMP SIM Manager is a free and open-source application designed to complement the JMP eSIM Adapter. This adapter allows any device, regardless of whether it originally supports eSIMs, to utilize downloadable eSIM technology.

• Easy Setup: It serves as the simplest method to manage your eSIM Adapter on compatible Android devices. Once a profile is downloaded and activated, the manager app is no longer necessary.
• Device Compatibility: You can use a compatible Android device to download your desired eSIM profile onto the adapter. Afterward, the adapter can be inserted into various devices like Wi-Fi hotspots, non-smartphones, or laptops, where it will function as a standard SIM card.

While the eSIM Adapter works with nearly any device after loading an eSIM profile, the management process requires certain features that might not be available on all Android devices. However, there are alternative methods for managing the adapter:

• Alternative Devices: If your current Android device isn't suitable, you can use another Android device to manage the adapter.
• PC/SC Reader: Alternatively, you can use a PC equipped with a PC/SC reader.
• Remote Management: As a last resort, you can manage the adapter through the SIM Toolkit menu, provided you have a self-hosted remote server capable of handling TLS termination.
