Description of the Infoconn Application

Infoconn is an essential application designed for users of the KG MOBILITY connected car service. It provides a comprehensive suite of features that enhance convenience and security for drivers and their vehicles.

Basic Information

Sign-Up Process

To use the Infoconn app, you must either sign up at the bottom of the app's first screen or register on the Infoconn homepage (https://infoconn.kg-mobility.com). After signing up, you need to complete several steps to activate your vehicle:

1. Subscription Vehicle Information: Navigate to the upper-right menu of the app, then go to "Subscription vehicle information," find your service subscription vehicle, authenticate via your mobile phone, and finally register your vehicle.
2. Additional Logins: For additional services like in-vehicle voice recognition, home IoT, and music services (available only to premium subscribers), you need to perform specific logins:
   • Naver Clova Login: Access "Service information" > "Additional services" > "Naver Clova login."
   • Music Service Login: Navigate to "Service information" > "Additional services" > "Music login."
   • Home IoT Login: Go to "Service information" > "Additional services" > "Smart home login."

Selecting Your Vehicle

If you own multiple Infoconn vehicles under the same name, you can easily switch between them by swiping left or right on the vehicle image displayed on the first screen after logging in.

Features Provided

Vehicle Remote Control

The Infoconn app offers advanced remote control features for your vehicle:

1. Remote Start/Air Conditioning: You can start your vehicle remotely and preheat the engine before boarding. Additionally, you can control the air conditioning or heater, defrost the windshield, and manage glass heating.
   • Precautions: Be cautious about idling locations and times, as regulations vary by region. The service will not operate under certain conditions, such as when the gear is not in Park or the vehicle door is open.
2. Remote Horn/Hazard Light Control: Use your mobile phone to honk the horn and flash the hazard lights when you cannot locate your vehicle in a parking lot. This feature automatically stops after 30 seconds.
   • Precautions: Ensure the vehicle is parked and avoid using this feature while driving.
3. Remote Door Opening/Locking: Unlock or lock your vehicle’s doors using your mobile phone. This is particularly useful if you do not have a smart key or need to secure the vehicle from a distance.
   • Precautions: Use this feature only when parked in a safe area and ensure the vehicle is not in motion or under a burglar alarm.

Check Vehicle Status

Stay informed about your vehicle's status with these features:

1. Find Parking Location: Check your vehicle’s location on the map using your mobile phone. This feature is restricted to distances less than 1 km from the vehicle.
   • Precautions: Ensure your phone’s GPS is active, and note that GPS accuracy may vary indoors or in areas with poor signal reception.
2. Check Vehicle Condition: Monitor the status of your vehicle’s doors, sunroof, tailgate, hood, headlights, and engine.
   • Precautions: Availability of status items may vary based on your vehicle model and options.
3. Vehicle Diagnostic Information: Get guidance on vehicle maintenance by analyzing fault codes.
   • Precautions: Diagnostic information may differ if not using the vehicle diagnosis service or if diagnostic equipment is connected to the vehicle.

Send Destination

Send destinations directly to your car's navigation system:

1. Send Destination, Recent Destinations, Repeat Schedule: Transmit destination information from your mobile phone to the car navigation system. Refer to the AVN user manual for navigation settings.

Vehicle Report

Stay updated with monthly reports and operational data:

1. Monthly Vehicle Report: Receive a detailed report on vehicle operation, malfunctions, and consumable replacement cycles on the first day of each month.
2. Operation Information: View your vehicle's mileage, time, and fuel efficiency for recent trips.
3. Consumables Management: Track the replacement history of consumables and receive notifications according to the replacement cycle.

Account and Subscription Information

Manage your account details and subscription vehicle information:

1. My Account Information: Update your personal information and change your password.
2. Subscription Vehicle Information: Search for your subscribed Infoconn vehicle.

Permissions and Purposes

The Infoconn app requires certain permissions to function properly:

• Phone: Check logged-in device information (UUID) to ensure safe usage.
• Location: Confirm parking location and user location when transmitting destinations.
• Storage Space: Download web content.
• Address Book: Check recipient names when sending SMS from the vehicle.
• Bluetooth: Send SMS from the vehicle to the smartphone and vice versa.

By providing these features and ensuring proper permissions, Infoconn aims to offer a seamless and secure experience for managing your connected car.
