The "Tip Ishøj Kommune" application, also known as "Borgertip," simplifies the process of reporting damages to municipal roads and parklands within Ishøj. Initially, the application is intended for internal use by Ishøj Municipality, but it will eventually be opened up to allow citizens to submit reports directly.

How It Works

To report an issue, simply press the "Borgertip" button on the home screen. You'll be guided through the process step-by-step. The app supports various types of reports, including:

• Waste: Issues related to garbage dumps, waste containers, etc.
• Graffiti
• Green Areas: Concerns about lack of care, mowing, and trimming.
• Park and Street Furniture: Problems with furniture, signs, fountains, etc.
• Roads and Paths: Issues like missing sweeping or potholes.

When you find something that needs attention, you can add comments and take a photo using your smartphone. The app will show your current location on a map, and you can pinpoint the exact location of the issue by moving a crosshair. Once everything is set, you can submit your report to the municipality for examination.

Status Tracking

In the "My Tips" section, you can track the status of your reports and monitor how the municipality handles them. The municipality can send you messages regarding the status of your report, whether it is rejected or repaired.

Profile Creation

To use Borgertip, you need to create a profile with your contact information. This profile creation process begins the first time you use the application. Subsequent logins will be smoother. Your personal information is used solely to contact you if additional information is needed about your report and to ensure the seriousness of your submissions.

Minimum Requirements

The minimum requirements for using the Borgertip application include:

• An Android 2.3 smartphone with internet access, GPS, and a camera.
