Oak Hill Regional Community Development Corporation (OHR CDC) is a 501(c)(3) faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to fostering unity among residents and stakeholders within the Mid-South Region. Our mission is to serve as a community resource and drive positive change for the residents of this area.

Initiatives

Our primary initiatives include Get Covered MS and Healthy Kids MS. These programs are part of a statewide faith-based coalition aimed at raising public awareness and engaging consumers about various health coverage options available through the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Medicaid/CHIP, Medicare, and federally qualified community health centers.

• Get Covered MS: This initiative focuses on educating the public about health insurance options under the ACA, Medicaid/CHIP, and Medicare. By promoting these resources, we aim to ensure that more residents have access to affordable and comprehensive healthcare.

• Healthy Kids MS: This program specifically targets the well-being of children in Mississippi. We work to raise awareness about the importance of health and wellness among young people, ensuring they grow up with the knowledge and resources needed to lead healthy lives.
