    Mid-parental height = (mother’s height + father’s height) / 2

  • Step 2: Adjust the mid-parental height based on the child's gender. For boys, add 5 inches (or 13 cm), and for girls, subtract 5 inches (or 13 cm). This adjustment accounts for the average difference in adult height between genders.

    Boys Height Formula = (Mid-parental height + 5 inches) / 2
