Gameplay Overview

Your partner sits opposite you, and the deals proceed in a clockwise direction. If you and your teammate achieve the number of tricks you bid, your team earns 10 points for each trick. Conversely, if you fall short of your bid, your team loses 10 points for each bid trick. The ultimate goal is to accumulate as many points as possible to emerge victorious.

Tips

• Bidding Strategy: Before each round, place your bid based on your assessment of how many tricks you can take.
• Bag Rules: Exceeding your bid results in bags. Each bag typically adds 1 point, but collecting 10 bags incurs a 100-point penalty.
• Nil Bids: If a player bids nil (0 tricks) and successfully avoids taking any tricks, their team earns 100 points. Failure to do so results in a 100-point deduction.
• Card Values: Cards rank from lowest to highest as 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace.
• Suit Rules: Players must follow the suit led unless they have none, in which case they can play any card.
• Trump Suit: Spades are always the trump suit. Once a spade is played, it breaks the spades rule, allowing players to lead with spades in subsequent tricks.
• Winning Tricks: Non-spade tricks are won by the highest card following the suit led. Spade tricks are won by the highest spade played.
