The canSCREEN app is a powerful and user-friendly mobile application designed to support population health programs and cancer screening initiatives. It is particularly useful in remote locations where internet connectivity may be unreliable.

• Demographics and Test Data Collection: Operators can reliably and quickly collect person demographics and test data even in areas with unstable internet connections.

• User Authentication: Operators need to log in using valid user IDs provided by the canSCREEN administrator. They can download the app and log in when there is a stable internet connection.

• Offline Mode: Before heading out to locations with unstable internet connections, users can switch the app to Offline mode to prevent data loss during screening events. In this mode, users can add and search for person records within the offline session.

• Data Synchronization: Once the device reconnects to the internet, the app automatically syncs the collected data back to the canSCREEN registry, ensuring no data is lost. The data is then removed from the device to free up space.

• Online Mode: When the device is online, users can search for individuals in the canSCREEN registry, update their details, and add new tests and test results directly within the app.

• Support for Low Resource Settings: The canSCREEN app helps jurisdictions with limited resources to collect and integrate data with digital health solutions, facilitating the recording and sending of screening results.
