Test Procedure

During the test, you will hear a list of words in each ear (one at a time) amidst background noise. Your task is to focus on identifying the words despite the distracting sounds. On the screen, you will see four pictures, and after each word, you need to touch the picture that best matches the word you heard. This process ensures that the app accurately captures your ability to discern speech in noisy environments.

Results and Recommendations

Upon completion of the test, the app will display your results. If your hearing is within normal range, you will see a message like 'Right ear: Pass hearing screening test; Left ear: Pass hearing screening test.' However, if the results indicate any potential issues, the app will suggest referring you to nearby audiology centers for further detailed testing.
