Lluvia is willing to risk everything in hopes of uncovering long-sought answers.

This is the premise of Kryptos, the first volume in Ximo Cerdà’s Guardians of Order series. Unlike a conventional book, Kryptos should not be read sequentially from start to finish. The chapters are scattered throughout the book, and reading them out of order would render the story incomprehensible. Instead, Kryptos is designed as an interactive and challenging experience where the reader becomes the true protagonist.

In this novel, you don't just follow along as the characters solve puzzles; you become the main character yourself, tackling riddles, puzzles, and enigmas that arise throughout the story. This free application is an integral part of the reading experience. When you encounter a page marked with the Kryptos symbol, it indicates that an enigma has been presented earlier in the text. To proceed, you must solve the puzzle within the app by entering the code in the "Enter Code" section. If your solution is correct, the app will direct you to the next page.

Some of these enigmas utilize the device's Augmented Reality (AR) capabilities. To solve them, use the app’s “Explore Environment” feature and view reality from a new perspective. Other enigmas require you to manipulate the physical book itself—folding, tearing, crossing out, or cutting pages. These actions are not only allowed but sometimes necessary to resolve the challenges presented.

If you ever feel stuck or unsure how to proceed, don’t worry. Within the app, you can access the "Get Hint" section and input the current page number to receive hints related to the puzzle you’re trying to solve. You can choose how many hints to use or even if you want the solution revealed. The difficulty of progressing through the pages of Kryptos is entirely up to you.
