Launched in March 2001 for clients of Canadian Poultry Consultants Ltd. (CPC), the Platinum Brooding® class has since become a regular, formal on-farm education initiative. Over the years, the program has been presented at various veterinary, nutritional, industry, and corporate meetings, receiving extensive critical review from experts. It has been adopted as a new grower entry requirement by the BC Chicken Marketing Board and is supported by the Alberta and Ontario boards. Additionally, it forms part of the curriculum at the University of Georgia, University of Arkansas, and University of Alberta, as well as the Aviagen International Production School in Alabama.
