MediaPlayer for Radio Program is an advanced media player designed to handle long-duration media files such as audiobooks, podcasts, and radio recordings. Version 3 of this application is currently available for open testing, featuring significant improvements and new functionalities.

Main Changes in Version 3

• Abolished Left and Right Drawer Menus: The traditional navigation drawers have been removed to streamline the user interface.
• Tabbed Interface: The screen is split into two parts, with each part corresponding to a tab. This allows for multiple file selection screens, playlists, video windows, chapters, and detailed views to coexist seamlessly.

File Selection and Playback Methods

File Selection

• Select a storage or folder from the central file selection section to display the desired file.
• Choose files from internal shared storage or SD cards.
• For folders not displayed (undetected by MediaStore) or USB memory, use "Browse (StorageAccessFramework)".

Playback Modes

• Single Mode: Tap a media file and play until the end of the song.
• Folder Mode: Select folder play from the long-press menu and play all files in the folder sequentially.
• Playlist Mode: Add files to the playlist via long-press or checkmark selection. Play in order until the playlist ends.

Operation Controls

Use the controls at the bottom of the screen for basic operations. Swipe up and down on the title section to adjust display size. Long-press the next track, previous track, fast rewind, and fast forward buttons to confirm or modify their functions.

The default settings include:

• Previous track button: Previous track
• Next track button: Next track
• Fast rewind button: Skip -15 seconds
• Fast forward button: Fast forward with sound

These controls work with headsets, smartwatches, and other music controls. Long-press the skip and speed change buttons to modify their values.

Access to Google Drive

MediaPlayer for Radio Program can stream media files from Google Drive. Select Google Drive from the menu, specify your account, and browse files. You can play, move files to the trash, and access them as if they were stored locally.

The app saves account names, file IDs, and filenames as history information for easy re-access. History data can be exported externally from the settings.
