I am Meena! Let's brave the storms, the viruses, and other social evils together. Meena is a spirited, nine-year-old girl from South Asia who bravely faces all odds.

The Meena figure has gained remarkable popularity as she tackles key issues affecting children her age. The stories revolve around the adventures of Meena, her brother Raju, her pet parrot Mithu, and members of her family and community. These tales are not just entertaining but also educational, covering important topics like education, health, and gender equality.

Origins and Reach

Bangladesh was the first country to launch Meena, with the film "Count Your Chickens" broadcast on national television in 1993. Since then, Meena has starred in 26 television films, radio programs, comics, and books. Every year, UNICEF releases new Meena stories that are enjoyed by millions of users across India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan. Episodes have even been dubbed into local languages and shown on TV in Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam.

Game Development and Support

This game is produced by UNICEF Bangladesh and jointly developed by MCC Ltd and Riseup Labs. Game maintenance and upgrades are handled by Riseup Labs to ensure an engaging and safe experience for all players.
