Coastal Carolina Hospital, a 41-bed hospital, has been serving the medical and health care needs of Jasper and Beaufort counties since November 2004. As part of Hilton Head Regional Healthcare, we are committed to providing quality care to our communities, from offering technology and programs that help improve the lives of our patients to achieving numerous quality distinctions and awards for our care. At Coastal, you have access to acute care services including intensive care, diagnostic imaging and laboratory services, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, primary care, emergency treatment, hyperbaric and wound treatment, and physical and occupational rehabilitation.


About 200 physicians and medical professionals treat and refer patients to Coastal. In addition to our physicians, we have a workforce of over 375 colleagues and volunteer staff that support the hospital. Coastal Carolina Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, the nation’s largest hospital accreditation agency, and is licensed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC).
