In India, this ratio is higher than that and majority of it is because the infrastructure is constrained to the Tier 1 cities and the stigma around the topic is still quite prevalant. After some research and surveys with therapists as well as people who need help, we have noticed that an average Indian cannot find or afford good quality mental health care.

After multiple iterations of the platform, we are launching our beta to the public so that you can make use of the solution we built and lead the life you deserve.

What do you mean by beta?
The Amigo app is in its beta mode, which means that it is still getting built into its final version and the app that you see right now on the PlayStore, is the version 1.0.0 of Amigo, so as to give you an idea of what we are building, how it can help you and get valuable feedback from your end in terms of how can we make it better.

How to book a session on this app?
Booking an online session is super easy! You can book it from the Amigo app. Here are the steps,
- Download the mobile app from Google Playstore.
- Log into the Amigo app using your email or Google account. If you don’t have an account, then Sign up using your email or Google account
- From the Home tab, select the type of therapy or counseling you are looking for
- Pick a professional from the list of therapists
- Pick a date and time slot of your choice for the online session.
- Click on “Book Now” and pay using any kind of online payment.

Home:
Home consists of all the therapy types and mental health related issues that you can choose from. Once you tap on the card, you see the listing of the therapists catering to that specific topic or type of therapy. Finally you can choose your therapists and book a session.

Journal:
Venting it out is important and we at Amigo, resonate with the need to let out your emotions. We have created a daily journal for you where you can add your entries to keep track of your thoughts over the course of days.

Sessions:
Here you can find all your upcoming as well as previous sessions, rate previous sessions, join the upcoming session's call and see your basic account details.
