Evidence and best practices in the therapeutic and diagnostic field suggest the use of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) as an elective tool for the functional diagnosis and for the definition of health conditions and of the related states.
The ICF provides practitioners a reference model that allows for the encoding of a wide range of clinically relevant information using a standardised common language, which enables universal communication in health and health care.
A diagnostic survey’s completeness and exhaustiveness, conducted according to the ICF model, is however influenced by the complexity of the hierarchical structure of the classification and by the decision-making algorithms that must be applied to finalize an operating profile.
To facilitate it’s use, Health-Tech ICC proposes Pro+filer App, a mobile application that aims to promote and disseminate the use of the ICF model in the clinical, statistical, research and decision-making processes regardless of the knowledge level of the classification and the algorithms that regulate its application.

The categories of the ICF System are supplied in two versions - brief and comprehensive. These are based on the depth of diagnostic analysis required by the user and include:
- Cardiovascular system disorders;
- Neurological and neurodegenerative disorders;
- Endocrine and metabolic disorders;
- Inflammatory and rheumatological disorders;
- Chronic and oncological inflammatory diseases;
- Psychiatric disorders;
- Musculoskeletal pathology;
- Disorders of the developmental age;
- Conditions of geriatric interest;
- Other specific pathological conditions;
- Generic and setting-related sets.
Clinical profiling and evaluation of ICF sets will generate an operating profile and a document based on the ICF classification that can be printed, exported and shared in the most commonly used formats.
Activation of the Pro+filer account ensures the generation of a free use license combined with unrestricted use of the application for 30 days and / or for a total of 6 registrations.
At the end of the aforementioned limitations, it will not be possible for the user to carry out any remaining registrations, modify, export or share the cards entered. During the free license period, no credentials will be required, and no charge will be applied for any reason, including at the end of the 30 days or 6 registrations.
