This app integrates your personal calendar with lunar phases, ensuring that you always have the best timing for your next haircut.

Key Features

Optimal Timing for Haircuts

With MeAdvise, you can find the best time to get a haircut by considering various factors such as the moon phase, day of the week, and the age of the moon. These factors are visually represented using colored circles: green for positive forecasts, red for negative ones, and gray for neutral predictions. Mixes indicate transitions between these states. To get detailed forecasts, simply click the "More Info" button.

Customizable Time Range

Set the time range during which you typically visit the beauty salon. The default range is from 9 AM to 9 PM, but you can adjust this to better suit your schedule. A narrower range will yield more precise and suitable days for your haircut.

Search Functionality

Navigate through the calendar to find the perfect day for your haircut. Use the blue search button with the vertical arrow to move forward or backward in time. The direction changes automatically when you reach the boundaries of the calendar or manually with a long touch. Tap the "Appoint" button to schedule your haircut directly within the app.

Sharing Forecasts

Share your detailed forecasts with friends and family by tapping the "Share" icon located near the "Appoint" button. You can choose to share your forecasts in either plain text or HTML format.

Premium and Free Versions

The calendar covers a period of three months. For free users, the right boundary of the period will shift to the right at the end of each month upon updating the application. Premium users can extend their coverage at any time, either manually or automatically.

Settings

Language Support

The app supports multiple languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, and Russian. Choose your preferred language from the settings menu.

Location and Time Zone

Ensure accurate forecasts by setting your current location and time zone. By default, Reykjavik is used, but you can update this to reflect your actual location. You can set your coordinates automatically or manually after installing the app.

Updates and Sharing Options

Configure how often the calendar and images are updated and choose the format for sharing your forecasts. The splash screen display options can also be customized.

Flipping Photos

Browse through photos from popular resources, all of which are filtered to ensure they are safe for a global audience. Content is sourced from the public domain (CC0) or under the Creative Commons license (CC-BY).

Text-to-Speech Feature

Experiment with the text-to-speech feature to hear forecast details spoken aloud. This experimental feature is disabled by default but can be enabled to enhance accessibility.
