Radiobiology Section
The Radiobiology section includes several key calculators:
- LQ Model Calculator: Computes the equivalent dose for different external beam radiotherapy schedules using the linear quadratic model.
- BED Calculator: Calculates the biologically effective dose (BED) for one or two radiotherapy schedules simultaneously.
- OTT Extension: Determines the additional dose needed when radiotherapy is interrupted.
- NTCP Models: Provides normal tissue complication probability estimates based on QUANTEC models.
Prostate Section

- Life Expectancy Calculator: Estimates life expectancy for men based on USA life tables from 2008.

Breast Section
The Breast section provides tools for managing breast cancer:
- IBR Nomogram: Calculates the 10-year probability of freedom from recurrence with or without boost radiotherapy, based on EORTC 22881-10882 trials.
- Van Nuys Prognostic Index: Assesses the prognosis of breast ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), with a modified version by USC for improved accuracy.
Brain Section
The Brain section focuses on brain metastases:
- DS-GPA Score: Calculates the DS-GPA score and median overall survival (OS) for brain metastases patients, incorporating new biological factors like Her-2, EGFR, ALK, PD-L1, and BRAF.
- Updated Data: Incorporates new data to enhance the reliability of DS-GPA scores.
Lung Section
The Lung section includes a Bayesian calculator for diagnosing lung nodules:
- Bayesian Calculator (BIMC): Improves diagnostic accuracy for the probability of malignancy in solid solitary pulmonary nodules (SPN).
