Description of the Application "ELO FADA (Orientativo)"

The application "ELO FADA (Orientativo)" is designed to help chess players calculate their updated FADA ELO rating. By simply pressing a button, you can compute your new ELO score based on the variation formula provided by the system.

The FADA ELO rating is calculated differently depending on the type of chess event you participate in. For standard chess games played within the Aragon territory at a regular game pace, the K-factor is set to 20. This means that the changes in your ELO rating will be more significant after each game. On the other hand, for quick chess tournaments that are part of the Aragonese Circuit, the K-factor is set to 7, resulting in smaller adjustments to your ELO score.

In addition to these, official FADA school tournament games for sub10 and sub12 categories, where each player has 60 minutes for the entire game, are also factored into the calculation. These games play a crucial role in determining the ELO ratings of young chess players and contribute to their overall performance evaluation.
