The Ancient Serdica Archaeological Complex, inaugurated in 2016, is the largest open-air museum in the Balkans. Spanning approximately 9,000 square meters and largely located below street level, the complex offers a unique opportunity to explore the city's ancient roots. One of the most prominent features is the Decumanus Maximus, once the main street of the city that would eventually become modern-day Sofia.
