About CA A V Arun

CA A V Arun is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the field of accountancy. Holding prestigious qualifications such as a Fellow Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Registered Valuer, Insolvency Professional, and Qualified Company Secretary, he brings unparalleled expertise to his role. Throughout his career, he has held several key positions within the ICAI, including:

• SICASA Chairman
• Treasurer
• Chairman of the Salem Branch

In 2021, he was elected as a Regional Council Member of SIRC, and in 2023-24, he served as the Secretary of SIRC. His contributions to the profession extend further, having chaired committees such as the Branch Coordination Committee, the Committee on Capital Markets and Investor Protection, the Committee on Public and Government Financial Management, and the Committee on GST & Indirect Taxes. Currently, he chairs important committees like the Artificial Intelligence, Digital Accounting & Assurance Committee, the Insolvency and Valuation Standards Committee, and the Continuing Professional Education Committee.
