Bitgem is one of the first cryptocurrencies, founded in May 2013.
Only about 30,000 of them exist.

Bitgem was designed to add an extra function.
The Bitgem wallet was able to generate four different types of trading gems.
Unfortunately that part of the source code has been lost, but is being rebuilt once again.
