Town of Salem is a thrilling game of murder, accusations, deceit, and mob hysteria. With its unique blend of social deduction and strategic gameplay, it offers a captivating experience every time you play.

How to Play

In Town of Salem, players range from 7 to 15 individuals. These players are randomly divided into different alignments: Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, and Neutrals. As a Town member (the good guys), your objective is to identify and eliminate the villains before they can harm you. However, identifying the villains is not easy since you do not know who is on your side and who is plotting against you. On the other hand, if you are an evil role, such as a Serial Killer, you must secretly murder Town members under the cover of darkness while avoiding detection.

Roles and Customization

Town of Salem boasts 33 unique roles, ensuring a fresh and exciting experience with every game. Before each game begins, the host selects the roles that will be used. Players are then randomly assigned these roles. Each player receives an in-game role card detailing their abilities and alignment. Players also have the freedom to customize their gaming experience. You can choose your own map (representing the town setting), character, pet, lobby icon, death animation, house, and even a custom name. Other players in the game will see your selections, adding a personal touch to your gameplay.

Game Phases

The game unfolds through several phases:

• Night Phase: During the night, most roles utilize their abilities. Serial Killers stealthily murder people, Doctors heal those who have been attacked, and Sheriffs interrogate for suspicious activity.

• Day Phase: In the day phase, Town members engage in discussions about who might be an evil role. Once the voting phase starts, a majority vote from the Town will put someone on trial.

• Defense Phase: This is your chance to plead your innocence to the Town. Present a convincing story or face the consequences!

• Judgment Phase: During this phase, the Town votes on the fate of the defendant. Votes can be for guilty, innocent, or abstaining. If more players vote guilty, the defendant faces execution by hanging!

Achievements

The game features over 200 unique achievements. Earning these achievements grants various in-game rewards and adds an extra layer of motivation and fun.
