To get started, simply connect a USB serial adapter to the USB On-The-Go (OTG) port of your Android device. Launch the app, and then connect to it using any Telnet client such as:
- JuiceSSH: Use this popular SSH/Telnet client directly from the same Android device by connecting to
localhost. - Telnet Client on a Computer: Connect from a computer within the same network via Wi-Fi for remote access.
This approach enables full utilization of console features including color support and special key functionality. The USB Serial Telnet Server leverages the usb-serial-for-android library by mik3y and supports a wide range of USB-to-serial converter chips, including:

- Prolific Chip: PL2303.
