How to Use Online Check-In

1. Tap the Search icon.
2. Select a nearby hair salon.
3. Tap the "Check In" button.
4. Enter your name and phone number.
5. Confirm your check-in to be added to the wait list without needing to log in or create a profile.
6. Notify the salon staff when you arrive.
7. Watch your estimated wait time countdown and plan your arrival accordingly.

Estimated Wait Time

Estimated wait times are based on the availability of the next stylist. While you can request a specific stylist upon arrival, doing so might extend your wait time. For safety and privacy reasons, stylist schedules are not publicly disclosed.

Availability of Online Check-In

Online Check-In is available during the salon's operational hours, excluding the first five minutes after opening. It remains accessible up until 30 minutes before the salon closes. Note that you can still get a haircut at closing time, but you cannot check in via the app during that period.

Services Covered

Online Check-In can be used for various services except perms and formal updos. Not all salons offer perms, and some services may require appointments. It's best to contact the salon directly for such inquiries.

Alternative Methods

If you don’t have a mobile device, you can still use Online Check-In through any internet-connected device, including computers and tablets. Simply visit greatclips.com, find a salon, and start using the service. Alternatively, you can walk into any salon and add your name to the wait list manually.

Arrival Time

After checking in, you’ll know your position on the waitlist. Plan to arrive at the salon before your turn. If you prefer, you can sign up for ReadyNext® text alerts to be notified when your estimated wait time reaches 15 minutes.

Late Arrivals

In case you arrive late due to unforeseen circumstances, rest assured that your name will remain on the waitlist for a short duration.

Cancellation

To cancel your check-in, simply tap the "Cancel check-in" option on the home screen of the app.
