Launch Methods

This application supports two distinct launch methods:

1. Multiple Taps: You can launch applications by tapping the HOME button multiple times or by tapping HOME followed by BACK.

   • No upper limit to the number of taps you can register.
   • To utilize this feature, set 'MultiLauncher' as the 'HOME setting for OS' and select your current HOME app in 'Settings of HOME App'.

2. Physical Key Long Press: Applications can be launched by long-pressing a physical key and specifying the number of times you press it.

   • Unlimited apps can be assigned to each key.
   • If your device has a dedicated launch button (such as a convenience key), you can use the add-on TerrainLauncher to launch applications based on the number of presses.

Advanced Functionality

• Accessibility Service Integration: MultiLauncher utilizes the Accessibility Service API to gather information about physical key inputs even when it is not displayed. This allows for launching applications directly through a long press of a key, enabling seamless transitions without returning to the home screen.
• Device-Specific Commands: In addition to launching applications, you can also execute internal commands such as screen locking and capturing screenshots.

Rooted Devices Only

For rooted devices, additional features like letter input become available.
