Overview

Touhou Thousand Night Anamnesis is a fan-made Shoot 'em Up (STG) game inspired by The Touhou Project. The game features a Boss Rush style gameplay where players can challenge various bosses in an intense and fast-paced environment.

Technical Notes

On some Android devices, the game speed might increase abnormally. To temporarily resolve this issue, please follow these steps:

1. Open Settings: Tap the gear symbol.
2. Display: Tap the "Display" option.
3. Smoothness: Tap "Smoothness" (the exact option may vary depending on your device).
4. Adjust Refresh Rate: Select "Standard," "Medium," or "Off" and set the refresh rate to 60Hz.

Please note that the root cause of the problem is still being investigated and resolved. We appreciate your patience during this process.

Troubleshooting

• If the Background Music (BGM) disappears, try restarting the app or your device.
• The issue with firing a bomb by a two-point touch is being looked into, as it causes a mysterious error. Please bear with us while we resolve this.
• New stages, such as 鬼形獣 (Touhou 17), are being added, so please be patient as they become available.

How to Play

Movement

Simply slide your finger across the screen to move your character. This allows for easy evasion since hit judgments are not hidden under your character.

Shooting

Shots are fired automatically, but you can turn this feature on or off via the settings menu.

Bomb Usage

Using a bomb erases bullets on the screen and damages the boss. However, lasers cannot be erased due to programming limitations.

There are three ways to fire a bomb:

1. Double Tap Style: Double-tap the screen to fire a bomb. Adjust the sensitivity through settings.
2. Bomb Button Style: Press a button to fire a bomb. Customize the button’s position and transparency.
3. Bomb Invalid Style: Challenge yourself without using bombs. This is a brave choice.

You can play through 12 stages including "红～天," "Extra," and "Phantasm."

Spell Practice

Practice SpellCards that you have already encountered in stages.

Boss Practice

Challenge bosses that you've faced before in stages.

Boss Rush Mode

After completing the "Phantasm" stage, unlock this mode to face each boss consecutively.
