Description of Master Lock® Vault Home

The Master Lock® Vault Home is the upgraded and redesigned version of the Master Lock® Vault eLocks. This application replaces the previous model, providing a more advanced and user-friendly experience.

Your smartphone becomes the key to your padlock and lockbox, eliminating the hassle of forgotten combinations. The Master Lock® Vault Home offers a seamless blend of speed and ease of use, allowing you to share access and exercise greater control over your locks. You can create temporary keys/codes, receive low battery notifications, and maintain a 90-day history log for added security.

Using a Bluetooth Smart-enabled device, you and your guests can unlock and lock your Master Lock Bluetooth Smart-enabled padlock through digital, encrypted "keys." If you're without your phone, or if you need to grant temporary access to someone else, the lock can be unlocked using a code entered via the lock's keypad.

In default Wake Mode, the lock automatically unlocks when you press any button on the lock while your phone is nearby. For an extra layer of security, you can opt for Wake + Tap Mode, which requires you to wake the lock and tap a button on your phone to unlock it. As the lock owner, you can effortlessly manage guest access, adding and removing users and setting schedules for 24/7 or time-limited access. The Disabled Mode ensures that the lock remains locked even when your phone is stored inside a locker.

The lock's history log meticulously captures various activities, including lock registration, unlock and relock events, the method used for unlocking (Bluetooth Smart-enabled device or directional code), dates, times, and user information (if available). It also logs guest invitations, acceptances, access revocations, lock keypad tamper alerts, low battery warnings, changes to the Primary Code, settings modifications (such as Automatic Relock Time, Unlock Mode, and Time Zone), reset keys activity, and firmware updates.

The batteries in the lock are replaceable and can be jump-started with an external battery if they die while the lock is in the locked position. To migrate your locks from your Master Lock Vault eLocks account to your new Home account, simply use the Master Lock Vault Home app.
