About Round Table Italia

Founded in 1926 in England, Round Table has expanded to over 60 countries worldwide. In Italy, the association has grown since 1958, with more than 60 clubs (known as "Tavole") spread across the country. Each club consists of at least ten members ("Tablers") up to a maximum of forty, with no more than three members allowed to share the same profession. The annual service activity focuses on both national and local initiatives, contributing to various charitable causes.

Philanthropic Initiatives

Among its many charitable efforts, Round Table Italia has undertaken projects such as building an elementary school in Amaro, a town in Friuli affected by the 1976 earthquake. The organization has also promoted the national emergency hotline "S.O.S. Infanzia - Telefono Azzurro," and supported the promotion of the "Convention on the Rights of the Child," ratified by the United Nations General Assembly in 1989. Recognized for its efforts, Round Table Italia was named a UNICEF Ambassador. Additionally, the association supports organizations like the International Association for Childhood Cardiology and A.I.L - the Italian Leukemia Association.
