The BeB app serves as a vital platform for employees who are passionate about advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities or mental illnesses. It is a specialized association under the umbrella of diakonia, rooted in ethical principles, Christian values, and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The primary mission of the BeB is to champion the interests of over 600 Protestant institutions, services, and initiatives dedicated to improving the lives of disabled individuals and those suffering from mental illnesses.

Two significant regular publications by the BeB are made available exclusively through the app. These are the specialist magazines "Kerbe" and "Orientierung," which are released quarterly.

Kerbe: This journal focuses on practical guidance for crucial technical and psychiatric policy issues. It is highly esteemed within the community as one of the few recognized social psychiatric journals.
