The Sahakari Merchant App is designed to provide a seamless and efficient solution for merchants who are part of cooperative societies. This application introduces the Sahakari Consumer Card, a plastic payment card embedded with a Quick Response (QR) Code, which is issued to the members of these societies.

• Seamless Transactions: Merchants can perform multiple transactions within a closed loop without the need for any additional hardware. By utilizing their Android smartphones, they can easily identify the QR Code on the consumer card.

• No Additional Costs: One of the primary benefits of this system is that merchants do not have to invest in expensive equipment. They can leverage their existing smartphones to facilitate transactions, thereby reducing overhead costs.

• Ease of Use: The process is straightforward. When a card is detected, the merchant can input the total amount of the purchase. Subsequently, the customer receives an OTP (One-Time Password) on their mobile device. Upon verifying the OTP, the transaction is completed, transferring the funds directly from the customer's Sahakari Shopping Card account to the merchant's account.
