The RSB Verification APP is a powerful tool designed to verify the authenticity of products approved by the Rwanda Standards Board (RSB). This application offers two straightforward methods to ensure that the products you purchase meet the stringent standards set by RSB.

How It Works

1. Scan the 2D Barcode: Simply scan the 2D barcode found on the product. The app will instantly validate the product's authenticity.
2. Enter the USDN Number: Alternatively, you can manually enter the USDN (Unique Serial Data Number) provided with the barcode. The app will then display whether the product is genuine or not.

Information Provided

If the product is verified as genuine, the app provides comprehensive details about the item:

• USDN Number: The unique serial data number assigned to the product.
• Company Name: The name of the company that produced the product.
• Sticker Type: Details about the type of stamp affixed to the product. RSB has approved nine types of stamps:
  • Made in Rwanda
  • Importer
  • 20mm x 30mm Calibrated
  • S-Mark Made in Rwanda
  • S-Mark
  • 30mm x 40mm Calibrated
  • 30mm x 40mm Verified
  • 60mm Diameter Verified
  • A5 Calibrated
• Category: The category under which the product falls.
• Standard Preference: The specific standard preferences the product adheres to.
• Product Name: The official name of the product.
• Brand Name: The brand name associated with the product.

Additional Features

For any inquiries or assistance, the app includes a convenient "Contact Us" feature. Users can directly call the Rwanda Standards Board’s mobile number or send an email for support.
