MAME4droid is an Android port of the classic arcade game emulator, originally developed by the MAME Team for iOS devices. It was crafted by D. Valdeita, extending the capabilities of iMAME4all to the Android platform. This version is based on the MAME 0.37b5 emulator, which was initially developed by Nicola Salmoria and the MAME Team, and later adapted for the GP2X, WIZ MAME4ALL 2.5 by Franxis.

Features

MAME4droid supports over 2000 different arcade game ROM sets, offering a vast library of retro gaming experiences. However, due to the extensive nature of the library, some games may perform better than others, and some might not run at all. The emulator aims to provide an authentic arcade experience, but users should be aware that older devices might face performance issues.
