The "Bear Detector" application is a standalone simulation of the device from the computer game S.T.A.L.K.E.R., designed to help users locate and collect artifacts in a virtual environment. This application does not require internet access, making it accessible anywhere without needing a connection.

Functional Features

The application offers two main operating modes: Compass Mode and Detector Mode. These modes can be toggled by pressing any of the buttons labeled "Modes." The switch is confirmed by the corresponding text displayed on the screen.

Compass Mode

In Compass Mode, a bright green indicator points north, helping users orient themselves within the game's environment. This feature is essential for navigation when searching for artifacts.

Detector Mode

To utilize the detector for artifact hunting, users need to input the coordinates of the artifact's location via a QR code. This QR code can be generated using any online QR code generator. The format of the QR code should follow this structure:

LATITUDE:LONGITUDE:DISTANCE

For example:

54.3213321:45.7636787:100

The latitude and longitude values must be in decimal form, separated by dots (commas will cause the application to crash). The distance is measured in meters and must be at least 25 meters.

Once the QR code is scanned and the coordinates are set, the application will display the distance and direction to the artifact using a green indicator. To capture the artifact, users need to press the red round button while inside the designated capture zone. Upon capturing the artifact, the application automatically restarts, requiring users to enter new coordinates for further searches.

Additional Features

Users can discard artifacts by long-pressing on them. It's worth noting that this version is a trial release, and performance might vary across different smartphone models. Some image distortions may occur, particularly indoors, but the application performs optimally outdoors.
