Overview

True DVD for Android TV is a dedicated DVD video player application designed specifically for Android TV, Android set-top boxes, and Android TV boxes. This application allows you to play copy-protected DVD videos directly on your Android-based devices.

Supported Devices

The application supports the following devices:

• Android TV: Requires Android TV OS 8 or higher.

  • Compatible models include Sony, Sharp, TCL, Xiaomi, and Pixela.

• Android Set-Top Box: Supported by various service provider set-top boxes.

• Android TV Box: Models such as Nvidia and Xiaomi are supported.

  • Ensure that your device has a USB Type A/C port for storage.

Please note that there may be compatibility issues with certain devices.

Portable DVD Writer Support

This application also supports portable DVD writers. The supported models include:

• GP75Y
• GP78Y

Connecting to a Portable DVD Writer

To connect your portable DVD writer to the application, follow these steps:

1. Connect the Portable DVD Writer: Connect your supported portable DVD writer to your smart device as per the user manual.

2. Choose the Application:

   • On the pop-up window, click 'OK' to select either DiscLink or TrueDVD for USB device on Android TV.
   • Note: After selecting TrueDVD, execute it just once by pressing 'JUST ONCE'. If you press 'ALWAYS', you won't be able to use the DiscLink app in subsequent odd connections.
   • If you encounter issues, cancel 'LAUNCH BY DEFAULT' of TrueDVD from the Apps menu in the settings on your smart device before reconnecting the ODD.

3. Complete the Connection: Once you've followed the above steps, TrueDVD will start on your smart device, and the connection will be completed.
