The magnetic field level is displayed in microtesla (μT), with a typical natural electromagnetic field (EMF) level being approximately 59 μT (microtesla) or 590 mG (milli gauss).

How It Works

The app utilizes the built-in Magnetic Field Sensor of your smartphone. To ensure accurate readings, start by moving your phone away from electronic devices to set the baseline magnetic field level between 0 μT and 59 μT. When a metal object, such as steel or iron, comes within proximity, the EMF reading increases, triggering an audible alert.
