How to Play

Ludo is a classic dice and race game where each player controls eight pieces. The objective is to move all eight pieces home before your opponent does. To start, a player with a red house begins the game (unless they win, in which case the losing player starts with the red house).

A piece can only leave its home when a die outcome is 6, but pieces already on the track can move with any die outcome. The track consists of 56 steps, and a piece can only be removed if it successfully completes the journey or captures an opponent's piece.

Movement of Pieces

In Naija Ludo, the movement of pieces is strategic. A player's piece can capture an opponent's piece if it lands on a block occupied by an opponent's piece. When this happens, the captured piece must return home, and the capturing piece is removed from the board. However, a piece cannot capture an opponent's piece if the remaining die outcome cannot be used.

Important Notes

To ensure a smooth gameplay experience, keep the following points in mind:

1. A player can only roll dice twice consecutively or more if each die outcome is 6.
2. Dice outcomes must be played before rolling another one, regardless of the outcome.
3. For a faster and smoother game, enable the DIRECT COUNT option in the settings.
