About Equine Medical Services

Established in 1999, Equine Medical Services has been committed to delivering excellence in equine veterinary care. In 2000, we integrated with Large Animal Veterinary Service, expanding our reach and capabilities.

Dr. Allen Landes took over the operations in December 2008, ensuring continuous growth and improvement. Our practice maintains full-time ambulatory units for daily farm visits and provides 24/7 emergency services. Our clinic is fully equipped with advanced medical facilities, including a traveling pharmacy, surgical instruments, radiology equipment, and reproductive ultrasounds.

Advanced Capabilities

We offer a wide range of surgical procedures, including castrations and tumor removals, and possess the expertise to handle various soft tissue surgeries on-site. Our laboratory diagnostic capabilities include complete blood counts, blood chemistry, antibody analysis, cytology, parasitology, and semen analysis. Recently, we have added endoscopy instrumentation to better evaluate upper airway respiratory lesions and diseases.
