Description

Mine Runner is an exhilarating arcade-style game where your objective is to collect all the gold scattered across 201 meticulously designed levels. Navigate through challenging scenarios filled with traps, guards, and intricate puzzles. Each level presents unique obstacles, requiring strategic thinking and precise control.

Gameplay

Your journey begins with a simple yet compelling goal: collect all the gold in each scene. Once you've gathered all the visible gold, you'll need to ascend via a ladder to the next level. Armed with a laser drill pistol, you can carve paths through brick floors, creating passageways and pits. However, remember that you can only dig through fissured bricks, not solid ones, and holes must be fully drilled through to be effective.

Guardians, equipped with their own drills, patrol the mines. If a guard falls into a pit and gets stuck, you can safely run over them, retrieving any gold they were carrying. Beware though, as any holes you dig will eventually close up, potentially causing danger to anyone caught inside. Additionally, guards can climb out of pits unless they are sealed shut. Conversely, your character cannot climb out of pits and will perish if trapped in one.

Gold carried by guards becomes invisible once collected. To obtain the remaining gold, you must trap the guards in pits and retrieve the gold they carry. Falling into dead ends with no escape means restarting the level.

The game introduces strategic depth with trapdoors and complex drilling mechanics. Players can only dig to the sides and not directly underneath themselves, necessitating careful planning. For instance, when digging a hole x blocks deep, ensure you dig a gap at least x blocks wide to prevent getting stuck. Exceptions arise when digging from a ladder or hanging from a hand-to-hand bar, enabling repeated descent.
