This app also includes the historical repertoire of ASCI and AGI, along with songs specifically designed for liturgical animation.

Have you ever wondered about the stories behind these songs and the identities of their authors? Is every song truly a "scout" song? Now, there’s an app that answers these questions!

Ensuring Authenticity and Legal Use

The "IL Canzoniere Scout" app is the result of extensive research into the original authors and versions of the songs. It exclusively includes songs for which the copyright holders have granted permission. This ensures a modern, safe, and legal method of learning and sharing the rich history of the scout movement through music.

Exclusive Content and Features

Each song is introduced by its author, and you can listen to the original version. The app displays the exact chord tabs as performed by the author. Additionally, it includes pieces for liturgical animation and contemporary songs authorized by music publishers.

App Functionality

You can search for songs using tags, keywords, or categories, making it easy to select the perfect song for any occasion. Each song can be effortlessly transposed into different keys. The app allows you to view songs with or without chords, using various chord nomenclatures. Simply swipe your hand across the screen to scroll through the lyrics.

Collaboration and Sharing

Create personalized songbooks to share with others, such as branches, groups, or units. Import songbooks created by other users and generate playlists for events like masses, campfires, or gatherings. Collaborative songbooks and playlists can also be created and shared among users.

Continuous Updates and Notifications

Stay up-to-date with the latest news and features through regular app updates and notifications. The app was developed with contributions from AGESCI, the Association of European Scouts - FSE, the Feder Piazza Foundation, and the Monsignor Andrea Ghetti - Baden Foundation and Educational Body, with significant input from the Scout Music inter-association patrol.

Licensing and Future Developments

In the free version, you can view the scores and share a setlist or songbook with up to 25 users. A paid "Scout Group" license will unlock additional features soon. Future updates will introduce functions for automatic creation and printing of field and exit booklets.
