Join is designed to be the central platform for healthcare professionals and providers. It streamlines communication and collaboration among clinicians and healthcare providers through advanced, secure, and compliant patient information sharing technology.

One of the key features of Join is its ability to enable clinicians to view high-resolution CT/MRI images via a DICOM viewer from any location. This reduces the need for clinicians to switch between different sites, thereby accelerating the delivery of care without compromising on quality.

Join seamlessly integrates with existing internal IT systems such as PACS and EMR, allowing users to view and share EHR information, various diagnostic images, laboratory data, and prescriptions. Please note that some features like certain EMR integrations are optional and currently limited to a few specific EMRs.

Join has achieved certification as a software medical device by regulatory bodies including PMDA (Japan), FDA (United States), CE (European Economic Area), and ANVISA (Brazil). This ensures compliance with global standards for medical software.

Security

Join prioritizes security and privacy. Patient personal information undergoes anonymity processing by the gateway server. Chat data saved on devices is encrypted, and communications between inner-hospital systems and cloud services are secured using a combination of TLS/SSL and VPN connections. Unauthorized access is prevented by requiring a passcode at app startup. Medical images cannot be downloaded and are cleared from cache after each use.

Join’s security measures have earned it an ISMS (ISO27001) certification, ensuring that it meets the highest standards for information security management.

Additional Notes

Continued use of GPS while the app is running in the background may impact battery life. However, this is a minor trade-off given the significant benefits provided by the app in terms of improved patient care coordination and efficiency.
